Highlighting and Contouring can be such a tricky one at times, never knowing the angles, what products to use and such, therefore I decided to do a photo guide to how I contour and highlight. This is an easy and simple step by step especially for beginners and those that are still looking for different ways to highlight and contour.
Step 1
Using my blending sponge, I apply my highlight of choice which is the Kevin Aucoin Sensual skin Enhancer in SX11, a little does go a long way with this product. I apply it in the places that I want to highlight, especially in pictures and or in natural lighting. Make sure the product is thoroughly blended as if it is not sometimes it creases quite easily.
Step 2
Taking my Ben Nye powder in shade Banana, I apply this on right where i placed the highlight, under the eyes, bridge of my nose, my chin and my forehead. This works as a setting powder it helps the concealer not crease or rub of throughout the day. I generally leave this on for a couple of minutes before brushing of the excess powder with a powder brush.
Step 3
After brushing of excess powder, I proceed to contour, this helps bring out cheekbones slim the nose a little and in general helps create a shape. when contouring it is good to know the shape of your face and then studying to know what to want to highlight, which is bringing out and knowing what you want to hide which is contouring. The Sleek Contour kit is also a very good option and this is what I used along with the Real techniques contouring brush, I used it on the hollow of my cheekbones, my forehead and on my nose just to give it a slimmer effect. Remember to always blend everything together as to get rid of all harsh lines created whilst highlighting and contouring. This is the last step to my Contour and highlight, once you have the hang of it, knowing your face shape and the angles, contouring and highlighting is an easy process, there are many dynamics to this method as well, this is just one that I find is doing the most for me at the moment.
Final Look
Hope everyone is well, and hope you enjoyed this post, till the next one!

So after what seems like a century of enormous eyelashes, multicoloured crazy hair, and even crazier costumes, I finally am able to say, I love Nicki Minaj's new look, She is portraying Grown, Sexy and absolutely no crazy hair! Ditching her makeup artist did her well, her makeup now has a flawless finish, and she is glowing really. I did start to miss the old Nicki, the real Nicki under all those costumes and wigs, before the multi crazy stardom she was just a girl from Queens, but I think even she realised, 'uh uh, we aint tryna take it to far now with this Barbie business'
So lets all enjoy her new glamoourous look, even her new song with Lil wayne quite catchy, I somehow find myself singing all the lyrics even...lol. *sigh* Check It Out Below.

This happens to be my first ever Favorites post on my blog, but I love reading these type of posts on other blogs so I figured I should do my own. Some of these products where featured in my previous haul post, just things I have been reaching for quite a lot over the past month. ( I know its like March now, but Bare with me dolls! lol)
Firstly my Kevin Aucoin, Sensual skin Enhancer, in SX11. For me this product is heaven sent! I love my under eye concealer to be quite prominent, think Kim Kardashian e'sque, the product is thick! Very thick, so this product gives me the most coverage I can get, I got it in a lighter color than my skin tone, as you can see in the images below, with this product it is all about blending it, if you don't, you will look like a clown (and we don't want that now do we). The pros of this product is that its all purpose, it can be a Foundation/concealer/Tinted Moisturizer, if you mix it with your face lotion.

Another one of my Feb absolute faves is my Chanel Perfection Lumiere foundation, OMG guys! if you love a nice fresh dewy finish you will deffo love this, Usually I prefer Matte finish foundations, but this one is amazing! Medium to full build-able coverage, it does not feel cakey at all.
My latest lippies have become my to go lipsticks a nude and a bold, both of them are from M.A.C Honeylove and Up The Amp. Honeylove is a matte, uber nude lipstick, so wearing that with Chestnut lip liner makes it wearable for me, and Up the amp I tend to go all go all out with it (Lovee it)
This Brush I have been obsessed with since I first got it, the Real Techniques buffing brush, I own two now, that's just how much I love them! the flawless finish in my foundation i get with me and my clients is amazing. Like some brushes I use for blending foundation this one does not streak, and it came in a set with 4 other brushes at £20 for the set.
I know it was quite a lengthy post but all in the name of Blogging guys, I do hope you enjoyed my first favorites post, and it gave you an insight into my monthly loves! There's more to come, Stay tuned.
